My name is Darcy Struble, owner of the Darcy Jane's Creations shop on Etsy. Creating and crafting is more than a hobby to me; it is a passion. Ever since my little girl was born in July of 2012, I have enjoyed a new genre of creating, and that is making all things little, pink and frilly. I take such pride in dressing my daughter in things that I have sewn, crocheted or knitted. I love that things I wore during my pregnancy have become up-cycled into things that she can wear now!
To tell the short version of a very long story, many people commented on her outfits and when I told them I made the items, every single person said the same thing "You should sell this!" Seriously, if I had a dollar for every time that someone said, "You should sell this," I'd be a very rich girl. However, I don't craft to get rich but out of the joy of creating something out of nothing (or in some cases, creating something new out of something old). And aside from that, almost nothing gives me greater joy than to see someone enjoying and sincerely loving the things I've made.
